Before You Begin
This lesson shows how to connect with people in your company as well as Contacts in other companies. You will need a partner, someone in your company, in order to practice these lessons. Please do NOT use the Sign-in addresses shown in these examples.

1. Try It: Log into Lync 2010
Go to Start->All Programs.
Please click on Microsoft Lync 2010.
Enter your Sign-in address.
Microsoft Lync will connect to the Microsoft Exchange Server and validate your Sign-in.

What Do You See?
By default, when you sign in your status will be green for Available. "Green means go."

Click Sign In. Now we can begin...
